It’s not every day I get to have some studio time with friends, especially when they live half way across the country. Abby is no stranger to being in front of her own lens, but being in front of someone else’s lens was something extra-ordinary. So, after some coaxing, and a lot of encouragement, we got down to do some shooting together. It was an honor to shoot this stunningly beautiful woman.
Peter and I agreed to shoot at the Griffith Park Observatory, only problem, rain. We decided to go ahead with the shoot, and I am so glad we did. By the end, we were both soaked through and through, but still had a great time. Here are a couple of images that came from that wet session.
We shifted gears a little bit for Wendy’s part of the shoot. We concentrated heavily on the ink that she had done, which only enhances her striking presence.
I first met Wendy at a wedding last year, when I approached her to see if she would be willing to model for me, she said, “Absolutely!” So we tried to schedule a shoot before she went on a six month dream vacation to Australia (a dream for me at least) and when she returned, we wasted no time to get her in front of the lens.
