Last weekend we were hoping to take a trip into the mountains to play in the snow, however, California’s balmy weather the previous week quickly melted away that plan. So we decided to take advantage of the warm weather, and headed to the beach instead.

Kaleb seemed to enjoy the experience, and was fascinated with the feeling of sand in his toes. We didn’t try dipping him in the water which we figured was way to cold for him. When we got home, Kaleb crashed out for a few hours, waking up to take a couple of sips from his bottle before fading away into a deep long slumber for the rest of the night. Apparently a day at the beach can exhaust a four month old…it also gave his parents a night to relax as well.
